I purchased Navigation Pro theme recently. In category archive pages for different categories theme has single post view where I would like to show a 3 x 3 grid max 9 articles on 1 page then same pattern should be followed by pagination.

Please help to come to the solution.

Try the Genesis Grid plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-grid-loop/. If that doesn't work you may need some sort of customization or create your own template.

I tried that plugin already but it disturbed the look of the archives layout. So, in short it didn't work.

Will my created templated replace the default category archives pages layout?

If so, could you please share me how to do that. I am non-technical person so would need some ground level help.

You can use pure CSS to display posts in grid columns https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_grid.asp

Also, here's 2 methods you can try.
