I tried to embed posts from my test site to my live site to see how that may work. To my surprise, it failed. I then embedded a post from my site in a test post, that worked. I tried embeds from two other sites that use the Genesis framework with different child themes, and they too failed. I found a random site and embedded a post to the sample post on my site, and that worked. After that, I disabled JetPack and WordFence just in case with no luck to embed content from Genesis-based sites (coincidentally only) into my Genesis-based site. I repeated the above tests on a friend's site using the Genesis framework using a test post with the same results.

These experiences made me wonder if Genesis has some code that prevents the content to be embedded elsewhere or lacks code that makes this possible. I have no reason to believe either one of the questions, but I am at a loss. And, I will not be surprised if the answer comes back as Genesis has nothing to do with this.

    Any thoughts? Any pointers?

In more than ten days, this topic did not catch anyone's attention. I withdraw my question instead of holding my breath.
