I'm using the Genesis framework, but I suspect this deals more with WordPress than being specific to Genesis.

Also, if this is not the appropriate place for this post, I would sure appreciate any suggestions where I might post.

I found a while ago that my email address was being exposed. I'm the administrator, but the account is not named administrator.

I thought I fixed the issue by adding some plug-ins, but I'm still getting unsolicited emails offering assistance for the site. So I'm not sure if the current emails are the result of the holes still being there, or if they resulted from the holes being open in the past.

What I would like to do is to privately share the site url and see if someone with the right experience could see if they can find the email address or other information.

    Thanks,

    John

It's entirely possible that the unsolicited emails have absolutely nothing to do with a data breach on your site. Enter your email here to see how many times and in what breaches your email appears: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
