MemberFor some reason, my posts stopped appearing, so posting under a different account. I decided to deactivate all of the Portfolio page plugins except for Huge IT Portfolio. I went to the Huge IT Portfolio section on the left side of the Dashboard and created a new Portfolio option called Articles. I added photos, descriptions, and URLs to existing blog posts. I used the Gallery/Content Pop-up option. Then I created a Page and used the Add Portfolio Gallery to add my new Article portfolio. I set my page display to full-length like the old Portfolios, but I like that you can also set it to see you right sidebar too. This is what I got: http://discoverhistorictravel.com/test-page-for-articles/ I actually like this more than the old Portfolio options so am going to stick with it. Try it again and see if it will work.

MemberI gave it a go this weekend trying a couple different ways and didn't quite get what I was hoping to achieve. Will try it again this weekend but may end up using a plugin for a CPT and call it a day.
This seems like a popular topic and have yet to find an actual StudioPress instructional on it. So if you're paying to attention to the forum SP team, please don't leave us hanging....or feeling like there's a bait/switch thing going on here with this forum.
I am not too keen on the fact that certain members aren't providing actual input but instead trying to get you to become a member of their website. It's kind of tacky to post a response with ulterior motives. Just saying.

ModeratorI don't know if it has been suggested by anyone before, but have you tried Bill Erickson's tutorial: http://www.billerickson.net/genesis-portfolio/

This is a community forum, not an official support forum. If you want to ask SP a question, file a ticket.
Portfolios are a custom post type in WP, usually. There are a multitude of plugins available.
While you can do your own templates for it, most of the time any generic portfolio plugin will work.
That is why we do not have a tutorial.
We also have portfolios included with some themes. You can copy the code from those.

If you need technical support for your theme please file a ticket. The forums are community based. Staff only monitors the forum for issues relating to the forum itself and to redirect users to where they need to go.

MemberHi Everyone,
I found the solution! There is a great plugin called Go Portfolio by Code Canyon that works.
You can see it here although the page is unfinished (I just couldn't wait to pass on the good news)
http://topnulledownload.com/codecanyon-go-v1-4-responsive-portfolio-plugin-for-wp/
It's working well so far!
