Portfolio excerpt / lightbox

I am curious how I would go about a couple things with a Portfolio page in Executive theme.

I'd like to optionally include a brief excerpt under the portfolio image. How would I do that?

Also, if possible, I'd like to know if there is an option to open that portfolio image in a lightbox, like Auto Thickbox Plus, instead of opening the specific portfolio image page.

Hi Mitch,

You'd need to alter the archive-portolio.php template in your Executive theme folder. Adding something like:

`echo get_the_excerpt();`

Should do the trick so long as you've filled out the excerpt field.

To use a lightbox, you'd need to remove the link around the image or change it to suit whichever lightbox plugin you want to use.
