Please Help: Display sub-menu as dedicated menu on child pages

Hey Everyone!

I'm working on a new site on Altitude Pro and running into some confusion and hope you can help:

I would like to be able to display child pages/sub-menu items in a line like it is its own nav menu instead of appearing on hover. I've added a new menu in functions, but I don't think that was the correct method. Can someone please help me with the CSS and Hooks?

The site is in dev, so I have a Maintenance Mode plugin active, but below are some screenshots of what I am talking about.

Currently, the site looks like this (on hover):

And I would like it to look something like this (no hover necessary):
