    Hola!

i have been searching for months how to add content (image / slider) BEFORE the loop on tag and category results pages.

I can make simple text, but no image or slider.

It seems like it would be simple with a plugin, but I can't seem to find it.

I have tried widgetizing pages and dropping the featured posts widgets but the genesis loop grid doesn't play nice.

    Any ideas?

    Thx!!

You could use a plugin that adds introductory content/category descriptions before the posts on the archive pages Rich Text Tags, Categories, and Taxonomies

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rich-text-tags/

Or you could add code to your functions.php which also does this if you're using the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin.

    Thank you for responding!!

It seem like a great plugin, looks great in the backend editing the Category / Tag

but the image doesn't show on the front end

Do I need ad any code in the functions or something?

I looked at Yoast, didn't see anything about adding content above the loop grid.

    Gracias!!! 🙂
