    Am I missing something?

The Pathway Gothic One Google font is enqueued in News Pro functions.php, yet I don't see the need to do so as there is no reference to it in the style sheet.

It appears that it was overlooked by the developer. StudioPress themes typically have two Google fonts, one for titles and one for body text. I suspect the developer intended to use Pathway for titles. He/she probably just forgot to add it. But since it is not in use, you could remove it from functions.php.

    Hey Graham,
I too recently noticed that two fonts were enqueued in the News Pro functions.php while the style.css only referenced one (i.e. Raleway). As you and Victor (What a great last name!) both correctly surmised, only one needs to be enqueued.

However, they are both great fonts. Victor's suspicion that "the developer intended to use Pathway for titles" is sound. Pathway Gothic One is a narrower sans-serif and would elegantly pair with Raleway.

But there is nothing wrong with using just one of those fonts. Check this out!. Example 7 utilizes Polar Gothic One for headings and body text while Example 5 utilizes Raleway for both.

So the moral of the story here is to simply unleash your inner Creative. Best of luck!
