    Hello,

I was modifying the functions.php file and I have no php knowledge.

After saving some changes, I see the following error in my website.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/nammucom/public_html/tendenciasjoyeria.com/wp-content/themes/ambiance-pro/functions.php on line 288

I guess I should follow that path and modify the file via FTP or CPanel. The problem that I am having is when I go to the "themes folder" there is no a "ambiance pro" (my child theme) folder.

I would appreciate if anyone can help me to solve this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

yes, you have to remove that <
(If the line reads <?php, remove it all)

Make sure you are going to the right folder (see the path from the error message)
If in doubt, send a screenshot of the available folders.

    Hi Christoph,

    thanks for your answer.

I understand it should be on that path. Maybe because I started the line with "< ! - " is it hidding the hole theme?

    Here is the screenshot.

I have anycase contacted with the hosting in case they can somehow find that folder, knowing it should be there.

They just answered that it could be related to the fact that I use cloudflare, and I should configurate it via CPanel for later cpanel to read correctly the folders.

I will try then to point DNS to my host laster configure the Cloudflare.

    Thanks, best.
