    Hi all -
First off - this is my first post here as I have just purchased the Genesis Framework and Parallax Pro theme yesterday. There seems to be a wonderful community around for help when needed.

I am by no means a coder but, am very comfortable looking through /adding code to .php files as needed. Also comfortable around CSS.

I am looking for the best solution to adding a widget to the top of every page the same way the "Home Section 1" widget does in Parallax Pro so that I can add a different image on each page with similar text.

Im not sure if using a feature image is the best way off accomplishing this because I would like to add a few button links and text to the image.

I have managed to add 4 more widget areas as explained from this tutorial from Carrie Dils.

Again Im not so sure if this is what I am looking to do.

Could someone please lead me towards a tutorial that I may have missed on this topic of lend a hand.

    Thanks in advance

Welcome to the world of Genesis! There's lots of people here willing to help, and loads of online resources for Genesis,

Perhaps you could clarify what you're looking to achieve with the design? For instance:

"adding a widget to the top of every page the same way the “Home Section 1″ widget does in Parallax Pro"
(Parallax Pro "Home Section 1" only appears on the home page.)

"so that I can add a different image on each page with similar text" - a background image? featured image? the title text from the post/page?

"I would like to add a few button links and text to the image." - so, not an image?

How do the four additional widgets you've added (per the tutorial) fit into this?

The more detail you can provide (including a link to your site) the better we'll be able to assist you.
