    Hi, I'm new.

I have a little familiarity with CSS, so I'm okay changing the code, but I'm still a bit of a newb when it comes to working in it, so specific code and where to put it would be helpful.

I'd like to change the background color and the text color of the nav bars in the Parallax Pro theme. How would I do that?

    Thank you

Here's a tutorial (screenshots and video) that will show you how to find and change CSS elements with Chrome's Inspector (or Firebug in Firefox): http://www.nutsandboltsmedia.com/how-to-customize-your-genesis-child-theme-with-chromes-inspector/or

Thanks for the reply. That's helpful, but I was hoping for the specific location for making the changes in Parallax Pro. If I understand things, properly, with inheritance rules, there's some danger of a change having unintended consequences. I could especially see this happening with changing text color.

So is it possible to indicate where in the Parallax Pro style sheet where I should change the nav text color and nav menu background color?

(BTW, I think I've found the Nav Menu background color and I changed that, but I would like to be sure I made the change in the right place.)
