    I have a few CSS-based questions regarding my site using the Parallax theme. I know these are CSS alterations but I don't want to alter the wrong code.

    The site http://carldispoto.com has the following issues:

    1. sections are generally too high, would like to shorten them a bit to take up less space

    2. the section with the social media icons is red, for some reason, and I would like to be a different color.

    3. The footer is black, which is fine, but the footer text needs to be made white in a smaller font with links and italics added.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Carl,

    #1:
    You can change the height by adjusting the padding around line 1147 of the style.css:

    .home-even, .home-odd {
        clear: both;
        font-size: 28px;
        overflow: hidden;
        padding: 190px 0 200px;
        text-align: center;
    }

    I don't see any red:

    Use the plugin Genesis Simple Edits to add links and wrap text you want to be italic in tags.

    Around line 1643 of the style.css you can change font / font-size

    .site-footer p {
        font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;
        font-size: 12px;
        letter-spacing: 1px;
        margin-bottom: 0;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        color: #fff;
    }

    (You might have to add similar settings for .site-footer a { )
