    I'm using the Parallax theme (offline MAMP in Safari's debugger, sorry) and am running into a template issue that causes Added Pages to use a slightly different template.

    When I use the default Parallax home page, it gives me this starting body tag (notice the 'parallax-home'):

    <body class="home blog logged-in admin-bar styles custom-header header-image sidebar-content parallax-home customize-support" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://schema.org/WebPage">

    However, when I go to "Pages" and click "Add Page" and select "Preview", it gives me a page with this starting body tag:

    <body class="page page-id-71 page-template-default logged-in admin-bar styles custom-header header-image sidebar-content customize-support" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://schema.org/WebPage">

    Notice that there is no "parallax-home" tag. The next effect of this is that the content of the new page (breadcrumbs and all) is surrounded by an empty white box (~75px). However, if I go into the browser's Elements editor and manually add in the "parallax-home", then the white box disappears and the page displays correctly.

    Since this is all running in the local browser's debugger, I can't really post it online. However, is there a way to direct that the Added Pages also use the same Default Template as the home page? I've set it that way in the Customizer, but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    I found the solution. On the "Edit Page" page, there is a "Custom Body Class" box. If I put the first body tag text in this field, then the page displays correctly. Not sure why this wasn't the default, though.
