    Hi,

We're using Lifestyle Pro theme on our site: http://luciana.misura.org/
I ran the site thru Google's PageSpeed Insights.
Quite a few of the optimizations point at Lifestyle-pro itself:

    1. Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and cs in above-the-folder content
      1. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/js/responsive-menu.js?ver=1.0.0
      2. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/style.css?ver=3.1
      3. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.11.2
      4. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.2.1
    2. Minify CSS/JS
      1. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/style.css?ver=3.1
    3. Losslessly compress images
      1. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/images/[email protected]
      2. http://luciana.misura.org/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/images/search.png

    I realize I could

    1. Install a plugin to do some of that. But I feel that paying for this theme, it should already come optimized
    2. Some of the items (jquery) are not owned by StudioPress, but are controlled by the theme as to its placement. I also realize that some stuff has to be above-the-fold so maybe those can't be optimized?

    Thanks

it is not a theme issue, just the way google is doing this now

if you do a search for move scripts below footer in genesis, you should find some info on how to remove the default scripts loaded by wordpress and add them to the footer instead, as well as the theme scripts.

i'm working on this issue myself, so i will keep you updated once i find the best solution.
