    Hi,

Im looking for a bit of advice/help. I'm using page tagger on wordpress so that I can get tags for my pages but the plugin hasnt been updated in a long time and I want to change it for a fresher plugin. If I remove page tagger will it remove all of my tags from my pages?

    Thanks,
    John

We can't help you with plugins that have nothing to do with Genesis or Studio Press themes. You need to ask you question in the page tagger support forum. Perhaps another plugin user can answer your concerns.

    Hi,

I'm getting rid of Page Tagger as it has not been updated in a long time. I was just wondering if there was any function I could add to my themes function file to enable tagging in pages.

    Thanks,
    John

Tagging pages means many different things. Try Google tag manager.

Tags are for post organization, not for static pages.

You can add tags to pages using this code in your child themes functions file. The code adds a meta box for tags however you will also need to add code to display the tags on the front end. I haven't seen code to do this so it may need to be written and tested.

Existing tags added via your plugin should display as they're stored in the database.
