Outreach: Show Home Widgets on All Pages

Hi all,

I'm still learning to navigate Genesis themes and I'd love some help with this: I'd like the 'Home 1-4 Widget Area' to show up on all pages.

I'm guessing that'd be done on the 'home.php' but I'm not quite sure where / how.

The section I'm talking about is the white area under the slider with the colorful images...a it's a div with widget content.

On all pages or posts or both? Including archive pages or only single static pages and not posts?

You'll need to create a custom function with conditional tag for all pages.

Or create a page template and use that for all pages.

The code in the home.php file only outputs on the home page.

Well now I feel silly! That's not uncommon, thankfully. 😉

I doubt you'll find one for this as its very custom.

I can give you the code if you can wait awhile.

Ah! I'm getting there...guess I just needed a point in the right direction.

I used the home.php file and created a new page to tweak.

Update: Instead of creating a page template, I just added the home widgets / php to the functions file + removed them from the home template. Works like a charm. 🙂
