Output category posts titles as a list

Hi,

I'd like to change the output on the category pages of a site I'm working on so instead of showing the title, featured image and some content, it shows the title of all posts in list format like this.

Would I create a copy of the page-archive.php file for my child theme? And if so, what code do I need for that file?

Use a custom category.php template that works with the WordPress Template Hierarchy.

You can then add your code directly to the file to modify the default output so it only executes on category pages.
