Hi. I'm using the Whitespace Pro theme. I am using nested ordered lists in a draft post and am using the type attribute (type="a" and type="i") to specify the type of marker in a few of the nested lists. It looks fine in the backend when I have the Visual tab selected - it's using the correct marker types. But when I preview the post (and if I publish), all of the ordered lists use numeric markers despite what I have specified in the ol tags.

I don't do nested lists too often, so I'm wondering if I've done something wrong. But again, it looks right in the Visual tab.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Frank

Update - I also tried to change the type of marker by setting a class on the lists and specifying the list-style-type in the CSS. That didn't work either.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer - it's much appreciated.

Hi Ren. Thanks for your response.

I've made the post live here:
    http://www.hesed.com/the-u-s-proposed-deal-with-iran/

As you'll see, the lists with lower-alpha type markers are now working (I'm setting the list-style-type through css), but the lists with lower-roman type markers are not working.

    Thanks!

    Hi Frank,

You need to remove !important in the css you added
    and change
    ol.lower-alpha li to ol.lower-alpha > li
    and
    ol.lower-roman li to ol.lower-roman > li

Thanks WisdmLabs! That did the trick.
