Optin / Landing Page Solutions

I've been a loyal Genesis user for several years now. The themes are beautiful, but...

I'm starting to get more serious about opt-ins / content upgrades / landing pages / etc...

Does Genesis offer any kind of solutions to these real-world problems? I mean, what's the point of a website if you can't properly monetize it?

I'm tempted to buy the thrive-leads & thrive-landing-pages plugins - but they're expensive and moreover they will begin to lead me down a path away from Genesis.

What are you guys using to generate beautiful and design tested optins and landing pages?

(I feel like Genesis is a wee bit behind the marketing times here)
