I've been using Pagespeed Insights to learn how to speed up my site, and I've been seeing amazing results (loading times of .6 seconds, and a 92 score when W3 is on). However, my mobile score is significantly lower, at a 71 (74 with W3 on). The biggest issue I have on mobile, is render blocking java script (a beast of it's own, that I'm working on), and one of my images on the home page saying it can be reduced by 95%.

My home page has a large banner image that is 1200x240, but is only 94kb, which is pretty small. I'm using EWWW to compress images, and on the desktop grading, this image isn't a problem at all. On mobile, it says it can be reduced by 95% - why is this? Is it trying to tell me I can somehow swap the image out for another image of a smaller size? Any insight into how I should handle this image on mobile would be greatly appreciated.
