I edited functions.php within the WordPress editor and I read after ward to NOT do that. I am just playing around with the Genesis Framework on my Mac using MAMP so I can get comfortable with it. I am currently trying to create a personal blog using the Focus Pro child theme. I opened up the functions.php file with Aptana, but I did not find the code I modified. Does the WordPress editor somehow save some copy of the original functions.php file?

How can I resolve the white out issue if I cannot even see the changes that were made that caused it?

    Thanks

    Hi,

WordPress saves the changes directly to functions.php.

Make sure you opened the right file in the right directory.

I'm an idiot. I didnt think to look under the WP-Content directory for it.

I saw the issue and removed it.

    Thanks
