    Greetings My Peeples,

    I'm using the 'Runway' child theme for our site: (http://www.poshinprogress.com/) and I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the weird space between the header image/logo and the nav menu. I've tried playing with the padding and margins to no avail. The required image dimensions are 1152 x 100.

    As, an aside, I also had trouble with the site title text appearing even though it was unchecked in the settings, but I found a post with a work around.

    Any guidance you lovely folks could provide would be hugely appreciated. I'm not a developer, but I can cut and paste like a mad man.

    Thanks!

    Jade

    Hello Jade, locate the following CSS code.

    Find this CSS code, ( padding: 3.75rem 0 1rem 0; ) and change the 3.75rem to a lower number this should remove the space between the logo and menu bar.

    #header {
    	border-bottom: 2px solid #1E1E1E;
    	min-height: 100px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	padding: 60px 0 16px 0;
    	padding: 3.75rem 0 1rem 0;
    	text-align: center;

    Perfect, Rob, my man! Worked like a charm. Thank you!

    Question: isn't that the top padding property? I thought because the image was flushed to the top I had to adjust the bottom.

    The images are never completely flush causing a space between the logo you place in your header and menu bar, kinda of tricky. Glad it worked for you.

    I use Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to source pages giving me a better out look on things
