    Hi there,

I've been searching for help in finding the Templates in Genesis Sample 2.0.1 on my client website.

The first question - does ver2.0.1 have templates? If so, where are they? The Templates section isn't there when setting up a new page and then checking Page Attributes on the right-hand side.

I see there is a new version 3.3.0 available but have been advised against updating to this version as it can break the website.

Please help as I need to set up a couple of highly targetted landing pages to improve the quality score for my client's Google Ads.

I may have to just resort to setting up full-width pages and forgo the landing page idea.

Any other ideas would be most welcome.

    Kind regards,
    Greg

At one time, page templates were delivered with Genesis, not the Sample theme. Page templates were removed several versions ago.

If you want a landing page template, you'll have to create it yourself and place it in the child theme directory.

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks for the response....

I've just downloaded the latest version of the Genesis Sample child theme and I see it does indeed have a landing.php file in a page-templates folder.

The question still is - how do I go about uploading this new version (3.3.0) without running the risk of breaking my client's website?

    Appreciate your advice.
    Kind regards,
    Greg
