I have many widgets listed in my vanilla, unmodified, Genesis-Sample theme, running under my unmodified, vanilla, paid-for Genesis theme, version 2.5.3, including Custom HTML, for example, but no Custom Menu. This is with all plugins affecting themes disabled. I really need the Custom Menu. Please help.
    Thank you.

Genesis does not provide a custom menu widget. The navigation widget is a WordPress feature. Assuming you have a complete WordPress install, the widget is named navigation menu.

Thanks for getting back to me. I do have the Navigation widget but it is extremely obnoxious in that insists on displaying the title as well as the menu. Any thoughts on how I could fix this. I am a newbie.

Leave the title blank. You're not forced to have a title.

I'm working on the Modern Portfolio child theme; it calls for the Custom Menu widget to go in the header right section, however there is no Custom Menu widget available.

Is this old code that I can copy and paste?

    Thanks in advance,
    ~ Audrey
