    Hi All,

I'm in process of choosing a new theme on my blog and have been looking seriously at Genesis framework. However this AM I saw the new requirement from WordPress that all themes need to be using customize option instead of custom theme options going forward.

    Does Genesis comply with this?

Yes. Includes a customize.php file in SP child themes.

Genesis includes an options page and many child themes include customizer settings. This requirement, however, is only enforced on themes in the WordPress theme repository.
