MemberHi Everyone
Over the last few months, I've been developing a new WooCommerce-integrated Genesis theme. It's called ENVY. And it's finally online and in beta (free) to garner feedback and bug reports before its official release next month.
WIth the already-complex task of complementing a basic theme with an e-commerce plugin such as WooCommerce, the primary goal was to keep the theme as simple as possible. Simple structure. Minimal jQuery. Clean code. A theme that can service the novice, but also maximise flexibility for the developer. A theme that takes advantage of the fabulous Genesis-compatible plugins. Similar to most StudioPress themes.
I'd be extremely grateful for any and all feedback from members (comments, bug reports, suggestions, improvements etc). Please visit http://envy.krolyn.com/ and take a look. You can also download the free beta and access the set-up tutorials from here as well.
Many thanks
Jon Barratt

Participant2 Things
1. The servers hosting your demo are seriously slow.
2. Is this theme GPL licensed?Couldn't download the theme.

MemberHi Brad!
Thanks for your feedback.
1. Yes, I know about the server issue. I'm migrating to another server. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved soon.
2. Yes, GPL licensed. However, there will be a price on the theme after conclusion of the beta.
Why couldn't you download the theme? Where did the process come unstuck?
Cheers
Jon

MemberHi Everyone. Thanks for your feedback so far. Please be advised that the ENVY website will be intermittently offline over the next 24 hours due to a hosting server migration. The new environment will offer much-improved performance, security and reliability. Thanks so much for your patience, Jon

MemberHi Jon;
I'm helping my wife start a new website. I came to the forum because I was looking for a base genesis theme to add ecommerce to and lo and behold, ENVY. Looks pretty cool.
I've downloaded the theme and hope to play with it this weekend.
How much will the theme cost if I do decide that I want to build out a site with it?

MemberHi Dan!
Thanks for taking an interest in ENVY 🙂
If you're participating in the beta, then theme is yours to keep and use. You will not be asked to pay anything once the beta release expires. All I ask is that you report any bugs or issues, and suggest any improvements on the Envy Support Forum. Of course, I'd also love to see your wife's new website when it's completed!! So, please keep in touch!
Best
Jon
