I have an old XSite Pro site hosted at Hostmonster. I would like to hire someone to move the content to Studiopress. Does anyone know of a service provider for this? Thanks.

Never heard of XSite Pro, but if it isn't built on top of WordPress and MySQL, there may not be a migration path. Without a database, the only option is to rebuild your content manually.

Thanks Victor. I'm not sure how I would go about doing this. So maybe the more accurate question would be is there a service provider who can get my site set up on Studiopress? I'm hoping to not lose the urls of the current pages (less than 50 pages).

Many developers will help you do this. Prices vary so a lot depends on the value you believe you are receiving. I do it for my clients as part of our service package, but I have a qualification process to make sure that we're a fit for each other before I move forward on a project. Although, I will tell you that if 50 pages of content have to be moved manually and rebuilt, it will be time consuming and expensive.

If XSite is anything like Wix or other free hosts, they won't allow you to migrate the content. It can be a real nightmare.

Are you planning to move to Studio Press hosting or another host? Some hosts, like SiteGround, will migrate a site for free when you sign up with them.

Thanks for the info. It isn’t hosted on a free site. It’s at Hostmonster where I have other StudioPress sites hosted.

You don't have a Studiopress site - you have a WordPress site using Studiopress themes.

Migrating a site to WordPress does not involve special steps depending on your theme.
