I have a pre-genesis theme that is a hybridized adaptation of the executive theme before genesis.

Anyway, I built a mobile app for it (not a mobile website) and have an associated set of code to affect the detection and redirection to and this code needs to go someplace so that it is executed just after the "head" section. If  this was a genesis theme I'd use simple hooks but since it isn't not sure which file to place it in. Would it be the theme functions? Any guidance, or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

In the Genesis Theme Settings, there is a box for Header and Footer. So you can insert whatever you have in there or you can use Genesis Hooks, but I prefer the Header box.

Thank you for the reply. This is a pre-genesis theme so there isn't a genesis theme settings option and can't use genesis hooks.

Going to have to edit one of the files to insert the code but which one is what I'm confused about.

The theme functions, the home.php, the index.php?

Without seeing the file structure of what you have it's going to be hard to assist you. Can you list out what files you have?

    functions.php
    header.php
    home.php
    index.php
    legacy.comments.php
    page.php
    page_archive.php
    page_blog.php
    page_full.php
    page.php
    search.php
    sidebar.php

Wow! That really is Pre-Genesis. I remember all of those. Right now... my guess is the header.php. Each one of the other pages would probably be calling the header.php file into it. So check that to see if the beginning of the Header tag is in there. I can take a closer look at the file if you send me an email from my website. I'll reply and you can send the header file to me.
