    I need help centering my logo. I tried each scenario in this: http://journalxtra.com/wordpress/genesis-theme/center-genesis-theme-logo-image/ and nothing worked.
    I have the Genesis Sample Theme. I've tried several things mentioned in the forums here, and still, nothing is working. Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm a newbie to all of this, so detailed instructions are great. Thanks!

    Hi,

    You can center your logo by modifying style.css, line 899. First, remove float: left;. Then add display: block; and margin: 0 auto;

    Here's what style.css, line 899, will look like with those modifications:

    .header-image .site-title > a {
        background: url('images/logo.png') no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
        min-height: 164px;
        width: 650px;
        text-align: center;
        margin: 0 auto;
        display: block;
    }

    You might also want to reduce min-height to have less white space above and below the logo.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks! That centered it. Hallelujah. It cropped the logo though. What would you suggest I changed the px to for less white space? Thanks so much! (It's not cropped right now ( I went back in there, but I would still like less white space.)

    Glad that centered it! To get rid of a lot of that white space, you can change style.css, line 871 to:

    .site-header .wrap {
        padding: 0;
    }
