I've got the Navigation Pro theme throwing an unwanted, random featured image on to single events views using the Events Calendar Pro plugin. Switching to the TwentyTwenty theme determined it is theme, as opposed to the plugin.

The funny thing is, the event doesn't have a featured image attached to it, the theme is just grabbing a random image. If I delete that image, it finds another to put in there.

I'm wondering if I need some sort of function that turns off the featured image on event post-type views?

Hi @lawrence it's recommended to start your own thread as your issue is unrelated to the one you posted on.

Review the docs on CPT's here - https://studiopress.github.io/genesis/developer-features/featured-images/. You may need to add the Events plugin yourself.

This may help but not sure without seeing the code in your theme.
