    Hello,

    I am using Eleven40 Pro child theme and I changed the header from "fixed" to "static".

    I done this through editing style.css from:

    .site-header {
    background: url(images/texture.png);
    min-height: 65px;
    position: fixed;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 999;

    to:

    .site-header {
    background: url(images/texture.png);
    min-height: 65px;
    position: static;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 999;

    When saved, a mysterious white gap (about 80px) appears between the header and the main content. Is there any way to fix this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated. 🙂

    David

    .site-inner {
    margin-top: 0;
    }
