    I've been doing a lot of work on site lately and just noticed when finally getting back to actually writing a post, that the friction' "featured Image" tool has disappeared from the post edit sidebar. It's not even listed in the screen options above. It's critical that I get this back as 360x200 is my standard featured image look on front page and not clear on what image WP grabs if no featured image is designated.

    buddypress
    bunch of the event calendar plugins/addons

    nothing that conflicted before.

    UPDATE...I was editing and creating a forum in bbpress and noticed the "featured widget is showing up in the right hand sidebar of that edit window, but not edit post.
