    I can remove post categories, but I can't figure out how to move their placement... Are there a couple lines of code I could throw in Simple Hooks, functions.php, etc. to move post categories to the top of a post?

    Thanks!

    Adding these 4 lines to your functions.php will remove the post meta from the entry footer and add it to the entry header just below the post info.

    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_entry_footer_markup_open', 5 );
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_entry_footer_markup_close', 15 );
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );

    add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_post_meta', 13 );
