This should be easy i would imagine but not finding in the tutorials.
I want to move my optin box to the middle like he does here: mobilemixed.com

or at the very least clean up the formatting so it is cleaner looking rather than how it looks now.

The site mobilemixed.com is using the older (non-Pro) Streamline theme, while your site is using Streamline Pro. You could still add a widget area to the homepage by following a tutorial like this one: http://sridharkatakam.com/adding-horizontal-opt-form-genesis/
