Hi there!
My website is http://www.smsdeals.mobi and I am using the Metric Theme.
I am wondering if someone can help me move the primary navigation menu. Right now it sits below my header logo and off-centered. I would like to move it to the right of my logo and up. I saw a thread in the forums that referenced this studio press article (http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/navigation-menus/)
I tried adding the code in the first box to the my site's function.php file but that resulted in my site going down (couldn't get to the admin page and the website was a blank white screen). I'm guessing this happened because I entered the code in wrong.
Can somebody offer a suggestion for how I should go about moving the primary navigation menu?
Thanks so much,

October 14, 2013 at 4:04 pm #66711sdbrokerMember@Susan - I do have a custom menu to the Header Right (Header is sticky) and I want to add a TOP menu above the Header like the one at the StudioPress page.
When I use the snippet to reposition the primary navigation menu, it adds one menu on the top of the header AND the same menu on top of the page. This is the snippet I use:
//* Reposition the primary navigation menu remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
I also tried creating a bar above the header and added a menu there... but because of my sticky header, the site looks funny when I scroll down.
Is there any way I can add a TOP menu that is also sticky like the header?

I already have a custom menu in the header right section. Is there something else I could try?
Thanks
October 25, 2013 at 9:32 am #68844[email protected]MemberSusan, I looked into this and here is what I found out. I am using the custom menu in the header right section. If you look at my website, http://www.smsdeals.mobi you will notice that the header right section sits awkwardly below the header image.
Does this mean that I need to change the location of the header right section? If so, how might I go about doing that?
Ideally, I would like my navigation menu to be directly to the right of the header logo...
Thanks so much for any insight you can give me!

If you widen the wrap and make the #header .widget-area around 45% instead of 70% your menu will shoot to the top. You will then have to make some other modifications to get things to sit right.

Lynne emasai.comOctober 25, 2013 at 10:28 am #68855[email protected]MemberThank you, Lynne! You are incredible! My navigation menu is now on the right, but it is still below the logo. Is it possible to move the nav menu above the logo, so that it is in the top right of my website?
October 25, 2013 at 10:47 am #68857emasaiParticipant#header .wrap {
width: 980px;
height: 120px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
#header .widget-area {
width: 50%;
color: #FFFFFF;
float: right;
margin: 0;
padding: 0px;
}
