    With reference to https://my.studiopress.com/themes/monochrome/#demo-full and viewing the live demo.

    In Chrome browser you may need to reload the page to reveal the site-footer. In Firefox the actual site-footer can not always be viewed regardless, only the before-footer-cta may display.

    Notwithstanding I wish to make the Monochrome Pro site-footer behave as the sample theme site-footer. Any ideas would be gratefully received?

    Thank you all in advance for your time and trouble.

    Kind regards
    Jason

    Should anybody else run into this problem the solution is a follows:

    Add

    .site-footer {
    position: relative;
    }

    to your child theme, and comment out the line

    $container.css( 'margin-bottom', $footer.outerHeight() );

    in wp-content/themes/monochrome-pro/js/global.js
