    I have the Lifestyle Pro theme and would love some help. I'd like to streamline my excerpts. How do I add " Continue Reading" to my post Excerpts. And how do remove the "file under" just below the excerpts as well.

    I'm very green at wordpress and would be grateful for the steps to take. Thanks so much.

    You can use this to add the link to excerpts:

    //* Modify the Genesis content limit read more link
    add_filter( 'get_the_content_more_link', 'sp_read_more_link' );
    add_filter( 'excerpt_more', 'sp_read_more_link');
    function sp_read_more_link() {
    	return '... <a class="more-link" href="' . get_permalink() . '">[Continue Reading...]</a>';
    }

    And this this to remove entry meta:

    //* Remove the post meta function
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );

    Hi Jeremy
    Thank you for the codes. Where exactly would these codes go? If I put them in my Jetpack CSS would that work?

    They would need to go in the theme functions file.

    Beware: make sure you have FTP or file manager access and the ability to undo your edits before you start making changes to your functions file. One wrong character can break your site and you won't even have access to your dashboard.

    Well, that rules me out. I'll have to get someone to do this for me. Thank you though.

    If you're looking for someone to hire, it is something that I do.

    Hi Jeremy
    I'm a humble blogger that has very limited funds. I have a gal that sort of knows wordpress and she asks very reasonable fees. What do you charge?

    I just looked at your site.

    Looks like you were able to get it figured out. If you can mark the thread resolved so that others will know that you’re all set.

    Thanks
