modifying home.js file in Centric Pro Theme

When a user clicks on the arrow down button on the homepage, the main navigation menu is not visible unless the user scrolls up again?

Sent an email to Studiopress support regarding this issue, received reply listed below:

"The scroll location is set to the top of the home featured widget area, so you would need to change that
setting to locate it above the secondary navigation menu. You can adjust the location of the scroll by editing the home.js file. You would need to access this file with an FTP or the file manager of your host's control panel. It is located in the /js folder of the theme files.

Need help exactly how to modify the code listed below from the home.js file to fix this issue.

Is there a reason for using the primary nav location for your menu?
