    I am trying to display testimonials with 150x150 thumbnails, a title and an excerpt on my home page using the featured post widget in the blog widget area on the Home Page. I have six in 3 rows of 2 but the featured post in the middle row *seems* too wide and pushes the next one over to the next row.

    Also, when I increase the character count of the excerpt, all of the testimonials become full width.

    Ideally, I would like 2 rows of 3 testimonials but will settle for 3 rows of 2.

    Can you help me, a non-dev?

    In your stylesheet, line 1270 looks like:

    .mpp-home .content .featuredpost .entry:nth-of-type(3n+1) {
    	clear: left;
    }

    This is telling it to put the fourth testimonial on a new line, no matter what--basically it's set up to expect the testimonials in rows of three.

    Not sure where the width of your testimonials is being set, because I don't see that anywhere, so I think that's another issue preventing your testimonials from being the right width to make rows of three. So if you set a width for these guys, the block of CSS is ok for two rows of three. (Try playing with widths in Firebug for Firefox or Chrome's Developer Tools). HTH

    I do the best I can with what I’ve got. (say hey on twitter)

    Hi Robin - I set a max width of 340px and it worked like a dream. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Naomi

    I just added the 960 grid css to my site so I could get the rows/amounts to my liking. Works pretty well
