    Hello:

    I am using the Modern Portifolio Theme, which has a couple of colors bars ( divs ) as widgets separating out the content sections.

    I have 2 questions.

    1: Where do I adjust the div height? I have too much space about and below the text.
    2: Is it possible to add a background image to the div instead of a solid color?

    Thanks

    Jim

    Jim,

    1. The color sections are #about and #services. Change the padding using the CSS located at line 1270 of your child theme style sheet.

    #about, #services {
      background-color: #830E20;
      color: #fff;
      font-size: 20px;
      padding: 60px 0 36px;
    }

    2. Yes, using CSS; for example:

    #about {
      background-image: url('http://theamericanpresidents.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Big-Flag.jpg');
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: center center;
      background-size: cover;
      background-attachment: scroll;
    }
