    Hi,

For a few years now, I am still very happy with my Genesis sites, such as http://www.anker-kompas.nl. For mobile experience, I like the Lifestyle Pro theme is responsive, but I consider to install a dedicated mobile theme, such as WPtouch or Sweipe. My concern is however: will it neatly function next to Genesis, or will I mess things up?

Any experiences? Any things to take into account? Or any considerations why not to follow my plan?

It will work, but when you change to a different theme, you will lose the benefits the Genesis Framework offers such as accessibility and schema.org markup. It's a step backwards.
