    I have installed a background image on Minimum Pro theme and have reduced the image to as small as I like to render correctly, but I'm still having some problems with page speed because of the background image. I'm only using it on the landing page - it isn't a design element on any of the other pages, so I really don't need it.

    I would like to set the image to appear on the Landing Page template ONLY?
    Can I get some help or guidance on how to do this?

    It depends on how you added the image. If using CSS, add the body class to your CSS rule. You can grab the body class by viewing the landing page source code.

    If you added it using PHP code, you'll need PHP code to display it on the landing page only.

    Also, please link to the landing page in question.

    This is standard to the theme.
    I didn't add it, I'm trying to remove it from all pages except the landing page.
    I want it to remain on the landing page, but remove it from all others.

    Ok so you're using the following PHP function to add the image.

    add_theme_support( 'custom-background' );

    You have at least 3 options :

    1. You can remove that custom-background function conditionally.

    2. Rather than use that function, use another function to add the background image directly to your landing page file or conditionally from your functions file.

    3. Use CSS to add the background image to the landing page template body class.

    You can find code for all these options included in community written tutorials.
