    Hope someone can help.

    I am using the Minimum theme and for some reason I can't figure this:

    On the main page I added a Genesis Featured Post to the (Home Featured 2) Widget area, I cannot figure how to style that post title so it is different from the post that follows bellow.

    I have tried styling it using that container that is in it and all of the above. I'm sure I'm missing something or perhaps there is no way to style it differently.

    Also, I want to add a side bar to the right of the post, but every time I change the width it changes on the blog page too.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    Hi,
    Ah, the fascinating challenge of landing pages! 🙂 You have a nice class just outside the title that will help with that. Here's a quickie example. Note "genesis-feature-1", and the next post down would be 2, and so on.

    .genesis-feature-1 h2 a, .genesis-feature-1 h2 a:visited {
      [[your styles here]]
    }

    Cheers, Dave

    Dave, Thank you so much for the quick reply.

    The post I'm talking about is the one in between the social icons. 🙁

    Gotcha. There's almost always a class or ID you can use for this type of thing. Just replace .genesis-feature-1 above with:

    #home-featured-2

    If that works for you, I suggest viewing the HTML so you can see how it worked. The concept is to get more specific than the thing that covers all featured items.

    You are a GENIUS 🙂

    Thank you so much, one should never wonder to do things that have no experience - but it's so much fun.
