    Hi,

I've figured this out for home.php but not on the page which lists recent posts or posts in categories:

    eg. http://www.hayleywebb.com/category/blog/

    and

    http://www.hayleywebb.com/category/blog/mind-and-soul/

    1. Where can I amend the format of these pages?

    a) trying to limit the text shown per recent post / post shown

    b) trying to make the placement of the image consistent

    c) trying to display in 2 column grid format, like homepage

    Thks!

    1.
    a) Go to Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Display Post Content > Limit content to

And add a number for the content character limit

    b) If you're referring to the featured image which is resized on the archive pages, it should be consistent.

You'll need to add a featured image to all posts which has the same width and height 600px X 300px. Then it will resize consistently for all archive pages.

You can add more image sizes to your child themes functions.php file and select which size you want to display using the above settings.

Go to Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Include the Featured Image?

Choose the size from the dropdown.

Its best to crop your featured images to the exact same size before uploading and keep them about the same width as the content area. They need to be all the same size. This why you can use them on your home page slider and as thumbnails on your blog and category archives.

If you ever change child themes, you'll find they'll work with an y theme if the width and height is consistent.

    c) You may need to custom code a page template for this.

Or try one of these plugins:
