    Hi - I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the white background - I chose a blue color in the Background Custom section but nothing is happening

    Thanks so much!

    Add the following at the end of child theme's style.css (WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor):

    body {
        background: #205c7e;
    }

    Hi - why did you pick that color code please?

    Will I be able to change the color in the background menu on the custom menu with this code?

    Thanks so much

    I just picked a random blue color. You are of course free to change the color code to anything of your choice.

    The code I provided applies a blue background to the entire site (body element).

    Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'background menu'? Which element's color are you trying to change?
