I recently did a post on my Metro Pro site. I wanted to insert an exiting logo I had previously uploaded. I used the Add Media button to insert the image in my post. I did not set a Featured Image.
After I published the post, I noticed on my home page that I did not get a thumbnail for my post. Is this normal? If so then why?
How do I fix this for future posts?
Hi,
the featured image is used as the thumbnail.
It´s normal that there is no thumbnail without having set a featured image. For future posts either set featured images or insert some code into the functions.php of your theme that sets the thumbnail to a default image if no featured image is set.
