    Hello

    I am busy with a new design but stumbled upon a problem.
    First of all, I like the site-header to be 100% width and will have a .png as a background.

    The logo will be changed from 270x80 to like 900x80, so pretty wide.
    Right under the logo I will be placing the menu that will be 900px wide.

    I used some code on sridharkatakam.com in the past to make the header/menu 100% width. I tried it with this design but it is placing the menu under the site-header, not in it.

    Can someone help me out with the code I need to achieve this.
    I don’t have the website running online, but on a MAMP server.

    To show you what I want I added a screenshot.
    Purple part is the site-header, the rest is quite obvious.
    I am using the metro theme.

    Cheers,

    Albert

    You could reposition the header outside the wrap.

    The header outside the wrap?
    Why not the menu inside the site-header?

    The thing is that the header should be 100% and the menu only like 900px.

    Can you show me a example of how I achieve this?

    I tried adding the following but in some way, it doesn't work.

    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 );
    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );
    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 );

    add_action( 'genesis_before', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 );
    add_action( 'genesis_before', 'genesis_do_header' );
    add_action( 'genesis_before', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 14 );

    remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
    add_action( 'genesis_before', 'genesis_do_nav', 7 );
