    I do not want to use tiles while setting up background image in metro pro theme but if I do not do than image cuts off ,how to show background image with no tiles at all

    Find this in your style.css:

    body{
    	background: url(images/bg.jpg) repeat-y;
    }

    and replace it with this:

    body {
    	background: url(images/bg.jpg) fixed center no-repeat;
    	background-size: cover;
    }

    That will stretch the background so there's no black and no tiling.

    Hi,

    I appreciate your help

    it resolves the issue but suppose if I want to change my background through wordpress Dashboard by going to Appearance --->background and change image ,it does not reflect in background ,

    is there anything I can do so that I will be able to set image as background through Appearance ---->background
