I'm using the Metro Theme for a client and all the Jetpack image widgets are showing span class code within the widget headline area:
    `WIDGET TITLE`

Any ideas, other than hand coding image widgets as text widgets? Not getting any feedback on the WordPress forums: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-widget-headlines

    Thank you!

Have you tried this Image Widget plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/image-widget/? I use this in place of Jetpack's Image Widget. It works a lot better.

If you're still having trouble with the span code in your widget titles, this should help: http://blackhillswebworks.com/2013/05/19/how-to-fix-studiopress-metro-theme-widget-titles/

Thank you. That plugin fixed it.

The miracle plugin is what that is! I will close this now!
