    Hi,
    I had a thread about this last week, and it was marked resolved, although the issue is not resolved.
    For some reason, the menu items for this site are all directing back to the home page.
    I have tried creating a new menu, and no dice. I just don't understand it!
    Thanks,
    Elaine

    Hi,
    Yes, links are there, but they're not accessible. I see what happened. In your quest to finagle the positioning of the "Joy..." bit so it's over the menu, the menu is disabled even though it's there. There's a forced overlap.

    There's a single line below that's causing this. The top margin of -65. If that's taken off, the menu begins to work.

    .menu-primary, .menu-secondary, #header .menu {
      background-color: #939517;
      clear: both;
      color: #FFFFFF;
      font-family: 'Handlee',cursive;
      font-size: 18px;
      margin: -65px auto 0;
      overflow: hidden;
      position: relative;
      width: 100%;
      z-index: 10;
    }

    I have a quick compromise that leaves the margin as-is, but it puts the menu bar over the "Joy..." logo, so I'm guessing you won't like it. ๐Ÿ™‚ You simply add these 2 lines to the stuff above:

    position: relative;
    z-index: 10;

    That should get you started. Anything beyond that will require considerably more changes probably.

    Hi David,
    Yeah, I tried to get rid of the overlap by putting the z-index in the header, which obviously didn't work.
    I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I added the nav background to the header, put the menu in the header and margined it down. I guess the z-index plan seemed less complicated and fanangled to me.
    Thanks for the help!

    Glad you fixed it! The gotcha with z-index is that the element has to be explicitly positioned before it will take effect. We all miss that now and then.

    You could have also fixed it via shrinking the massive home link, but I thought I'd suggest the quickest things I thought of.
